I think this is making the false assumption that I'm working against. Which is that somehow technology and its development exist in a vacuu, outside the rest of humans social world, and that a technology introduced to the world will somehow supersede all structures and stratification that came before ot, remaking the world, democratizing it in fact with its new ability to reach more people further and faster. This, we know, is a myth. Technology, like everything is subject to the integration of human life and all that comes with it. Technology, unfettered in its introduction to the world, will not reform it, it will be subsumed by the logic and pre existing conditions of the world it enters.
